The spokesperson of the Somali Police Force, Col Qasim Ahmed Roble, who held a press conference at SYL Hotel, gave details of the damage caused by the attack that was carried out last night, which caused various other losses in terms of life and property.
Col. Qasim Ahmed Roble said 3 soldiers of the hotel security died and 27 other people were injured, including 18 civilians , 9 soldiers, adding and 3 MPs suffered minor injuries. and now back to their normal jobs.
The spokesperson of the Somali Police said that the security forces have succeeded in shooting all the groups that attacked the SYL Hotel, which were 5 members of Al-Shabaab, and also he said that they are investigating the reason how the shabaab came to attack the hotel.
