The Minister of Interior, Federal and Reconciliation, Mr. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, today met with the Ambassador of the Arab League in Somalia, Mr. Abdullahi bin Mudlaq Alutaybe. During the meeting, the issues discussed were the most important; Reconciliation activities, stabilization of the country and cooperation between the Ministry and the Arab League in the fields of peace building in Somalia and other issues. The Arab League has supported the Somali government for a year after the maritime crisis between the Somali government and Ethiopia, which violated the country’s sovereignty.
