The President pointed out that this agreement will lead to the US Government increasing the support and training of the Somali Forces, specially trained Danab troops, training and military centers will be implemented in the cities of Mogadishu, Kismayo, Baidoa, Jowhar and Dhusamareb. “This agreement helps the government of Somalia with plans to reform and strengthen the Somali National Army, the struggle to free the country from Al-Shabaab terrorists and ensure security, and he instructed the members from the Somali government of the joint committee of the two countries to give high priority to the implementation of the agreement”. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud thanked the United States government for its role in improving the specially trained forces of Danab and the Somali security agencies in general, noting how they are the backbone of the war against Al-Shabaab and the ongoing operations. to liberate the rest of the country.
