The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, today reshuffled his government and reshuffled the ministers, appointing various ministers.
Among the ministers are: Ahmed Macalin Fiqi has been appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, while Member of Parliament Ali Yusuf Ali Hoosh, who is a member of the People's Assembly, has been appointed as the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs for the reconciliation of the country.
Other ministers include: General Abdullahi Fartaag, Minister of Internal Security, Abdullahi Bidhan, Minister of Energy and Water, Mohamed Adan Macalin, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, and Ahmed Omar Mohamed, Minister of State for Environment and Climate Change.
The reconciliation of the cabinet has been widely discussed in recent times and finally after some time Prime Minister Hamse has appointed his minister of foreign affairs, Minister Fiqi will be the minister of foreign affairs of Somalia for the first time as is known.
