The Somali Quality Authority has seized containers of spoiled flour at the port of Mogadishu, which were intended to be brought into the city and sold in the markets of Mogadishu.

The director of the quality control inspection department of the market department of Tayo Dhowrka Mohamud Ilmi Fiidshi said that hundreds of tons of flour were seized at the port of Mogadishu, which he said happened this month.

Fiidshe said that the loot they seized is seven hundred thousand, and he confirmed that the government agencies will do their duty and prevent them from entering the city and harassing the Somali people.

The Tayo Dhowrka Agency has warned Somali businessmen to import illegal food and medicines into the country that could cause problems, and the agency said that action will be taken against those who bring illegal food or medicine into the country.
